The impact of good design
I have always believed that good graphic design makes a genuine difference in people’s lives. It helps charities shout ‘we are here,’ bridges gaps in relationships, and helps people realise they aren’t alone.
Through my work with charities, I have seen firsthand how we have helped prevent homelessness, supported refugees, and shown the elderly that they aren’t alone.
Children who have been bullied have received support, and vital information has been provided to those in need. We’ve also helped people fundraise for cancer support and other diseases.
It’s a humbling feeling.
Our commitment to charities
Working with charities is a privilege, allowing us to support organisations as they make significant impacts across the UK. We collaborate with charities as they achieve their substantial goals. Looking ahead, I am focused on multiplying this impact, as there are more people than ever who are struggling and in need of the support that good charities can provide.
This is why we recently made the decision to solely focus on the charity sector.
Our partnerships
We’re already working with Shelter Cymru, Age Cymru, along with other UK and international charities like Surviving Economic Abuse and St John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital.
Our plan is to expand on this and help many other national charities with their graphic design needs.
The Ginger and Tall approach
At the beginning of each project, we dedicate time to thoroughly understanding each organisation’s objectives. As our relationship develops, we become so integrated that it feels as if we are part of their in-house team.
We marry both the overarching aims and objectives, as well as the brand requirements, and we seamlessly combine these elements to deliver successful outcomes. Often, an organisation may collaborate with an agency for their main rebrand, and then partner with us to interpret and implement the brand into practical design assets that they need.
Our philosophy
We don’t view clients as mere sources of revenue; we see them as partners and take great joy in witnessing their progress towards ambitious goals. We consider ourselves part of their team, genuinely caring about the success of each project. We understand the bigger picture and the needs of the end-users, which drives our commitment to delivering impactful results.
We are a small team that hasa the common belief that design can make a difference.
Being based in Swansea means our lower office overheads allows us to provide cost-effective services without compromising on quality. Also, our location creates a relational attitude that you don’t always find with big city agencies.
Changing lives
Although we don’t know the exact numbers or scale of our impact and we likely never will…
A few years ago I was a bone marrow donor to a baby boy. To this day, I know very little about him, only that the procedure saved his life. It’s similar to what we do at Ginger and Tall. We may never know how much of an impact we have and we understand that most people may not even know we exist. But we do know that we are helping people, and that’s good enough for us.
We’d love to talk to you about your charity’s every day graphic design needs. Send us a message to schedule a chat.
